AND Q&A WITH MARGARET AVERY
River City Rep will present a special screening of Steven Spielberg's "THE COLOR PURPLE" with a Q&A following the film with Margaret Avery at the Robinson Film Center, Sunday July 6th at 4 P.M. Miss Avery was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as the jazz singer, Shug Avery. The film also featured Whoopi Goldberg, Oprah Winfrey and Danny Glover.

Academy Award nominee, Margaret Avery, will be starring in River City Repertory
Theatre's upcoming production of "The Member of the Wedding."
The production opens July 16th and runs through July 20th at the Scottish

LEXI LANGS JOINS
"THE MEMBER OF THE WEDDING" CAST
Lexi Langs, a young professional actress from Orlando, Florida, has been
cast in the role of Frankie Addams in River City Rep's production of "The
Member of the Wedding." Langs will join Academy Award nominee, Margaret
Avery, in the Carson McCullers' drama opening July 16th at the Scottish
Rite Cathedral. Langs has appeared in Circle of Friends at the
American Girl Theatre in NYC, in Oz at the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre and
in the regional premiere of Kathie Lee Gifford's musical Under the Bridge
at the Orlando Repertory Theatre.
